Make delicious Spooky Halloween Cookies this October.

Ingredients
250g unsalted butter, softened
150g golden granulated sugar
2-3 drops vanilla extract
1 egg
220g plain flour
1tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
Chocolate chips, nuts, raisins, icing ect...
1. Quick and easy make, start with a large bowl and beat together the butter and sugar until fluffy.
2. Beat in the Vanilla extract with an egg, a little at a time until mixed well.
3. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt into the bowl and mix.
4. Wrap the batter in cling film and place in to fridge for 20 minutes until it takes a firmer texture.
5. Flour a large clean surface and lay the mixture onto it. Now the fun begins!
6. Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/ Gas Mark 6.
7. Roll the mixture with a rolling pin and use your spooky cutters to make cookies approx 1cm deep.
8. Lay the cookies on a baking tray, decorate as you wish. We recommend chocolate chips for eyes and coloured icing for ghouly shapes.
9. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are pale golden-brown.
10. Don't rush in there just yet, leave the cookies aside for 1-2 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
